Aurora PhotoArts Marketing Sites To Be Mosaic Class. First Look At The New Design.

At the 11th hour, just before the Venus 3 marketing sites were about to be mass produced, becoming the most numerous of any web site design format that I have, it was decided that the new sites would be brand new MosaicAn early mockup of the new Mosaic Class advanced visual marketing web site. Class marketing and support sites, instead.
Although the new Venus 3 marketing sites were ready to be produced, and they were excellent, it was decided to go with a newer design which had advantages over the Venus 3 site, which includes larger picture images displayed, and more thumbnails for looking at different images. Although the new site, much like the Venus 3, is a late 3rd Generation Eos MediaArts web site utilizing JPEG’s, the Mosaic is more compatible with 4th Generation flash and databasing technologies, and can be upgraded to the new technologies far more easily. The layout and design is also cleaner and more intuitive to use, with a refined, slick design. It’s not nearly as busy. It looks more upscale, and puts more emphasis on the pictures.
I was testing embedded video files with the Venus 3 site design, and they were not The Venus 3 prototype. Compare to the mock up of the new Mosaic Class advanced visual marketing site, above. Choice!compatible (I was not at all happy about that, with my plans for video on the sites). The new Mosaic Class site is fully compatible with video files, unlike the Venus 3. I will be using videos for everything from client testimonials to tutorials and behind-the-scenes videos; all of the blogs will have video sections added to them, which will work like my popular Tampa Bay Film Online Film Festival (and some people were wondering if my investment into indie filmmaking would pay off. Shooting films and videos will become a major part of all of my businesses in the next decade. Unlike most other photographers, I am highly trained and experienced in independent film, television production, and in videomaking. Also, expect to see me in front of the camera, a lot, in the near future. Regarding video, did you know, for example, that I’ll be making a ton of independent films as a filmmaker, and that the next Dream Nine Studios site, which is due online in 2012, and which will be a state of the art 4th generation web site (a new web site class, too, possibly derived from the Diana Class site, but with the latest technology), will actually use video and music in the flash graphics of the site? There will be sequences from some of my films playing in the graphic elements of the site, as well as samples of my video games, which I will also be making with the company. Cool stuff!).
Oh, and regarding videos, my clients, which would not be obligated to do, would have to sign a release before I publish shoot videos, or share anything from our shoot, online.
The Mosaic Class site, being even more advanced than the Venus 3, has additional capabilities which exceed the scope of the Venus Class site design. This is more important for our long term plans; the new Mosaic Class will age much better, and could last as long as ten years (with upgrades)! The Venus 3 would have been phased out much sooner than that, in as little as five years, at the most (Wow...... imagine that. A web site designed to last for ten years).
Because of the new watermarking and copy protection techniques which were developed for the latest sites, it is now possible to make the images as large as we want, without the use of java locks. Showing the images in a larger format will be much better for marketing photography services.
And, of course, the new site design is perfectly compatible with the Tampa Photographer Blog and this Tampa Photography Blog. Oh, and there is a secret, too. I will be launching a THIRD blog this spring, which will also be a Mosaic Class site interlinked with the other Aurora PhotoArts Mosaic Class sites. What the blog will be about, as well as the name, is currently classified, but I can tell you that it has something to do with Aurora PhotoArts. You can’t wait, and neither can I!
The switch to the new Mosaic Class design is not expected to delay the schedule of the construction of the Aurora PhotoArts marketing site array that much, only adding a couple of days to the development cycle at the beginning.
Since the new Venus 3 sites are designed and ready to go, I’m not scrapping them. I’m considering using them for the sites of my second photography marketing company, which will be for higher risk markets. I might also make the design available for sale to clients, in time. I may also build and deploy a few for testing purposes.
And, with that, it’s back to work.
